16th May 2010 Windsurfing: Blithfield Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Warm Sea Temperature: Cold Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Arrived mid afternoon to be told I should have been there earlier. It looked pretty disappointing, but I rigged anyway and went out. After a few promising gusts the wind did fill back in and I had a decent session with some planing gybes. Roasting hot in winter suit - never thought to bring summer suit after so many cold sessions. Packed in only when I could no longer hold the rig going into gybes - despite gym time over the winter I need time on the water to bring back full fitness. |
